Congratulations to Ellie Morgan for completing her Science Fair project, ā€œTo Graze or Not to Graze?ā€ Ellie studied the impact of overgrazing and rotational grazing on pastures. She is in 7th grade and homeschools in the Challenge A Classical Conversations program in Alvaton, Ky, just down the road from our farm.

Congratulations, Ellie!! We are proud of you! And thanks to everyone who graciously answered her questions at the Cattlemenā€™s convention.

Morgan and Morgan Polled Hereford Farms

We had a great time at the Kentucky Cattlemanā€™s Convention in Lexington. Ellie used the opportunity to research her Classical Conversations 7th grade science fair project titled ā€œTo Graze or Not to Grazeā€. She learned that most farmers she questioned aknowledged overgrazing.

Ellie is seen here with David Maples, the KCC president. Thanks to everyone who helped Ellie with her research!
